The Newcastle Boschpick Highlanders marked the end of another successful rugby season with their annual general meeting and prize-giving ceremony, held on Saturday at the rugby club in Arbor Park.

Chairman Alistair van Wyk opened the meeting by welcoming guests and delivering his annual report.

Director of coaching, André Swanepoel, then presented his report, outlining key developments and achievements from the year.

Swanepoel congratulated the players who excelled throughout the season and thanked every player, spouse, and sponsor for contributing to the club’s ongoing success.

This was followed by the club captain’s report, delivered by Henk Booysen.

The AGM concluded with the annual prize-giving, during which several players and club members were recognised for their talent, commitment, and sportsmanship both on and off the field.
