Community touch rugby tournament kicks off in Newcastle

Newcastle rugby fanatics, young and old, are invited to take part in a fun and exciting day of touch rugby.

Newcastle’s Coach Shaka will host the much-anticipated Touch Rugby Community Day Tournament at Arbor Park Sports Grounds on Saturday, January 10.

The event is open to everyone aged nine and older and is expected to attract both social and competitive players.

“No tackling will be allowed, as the focus will be strictly on touch rugby. Players can also look forward to a variety of prizes on offer throughout the day,” Shaka said.

Teams are encouraged to register early, with registration opening at 09:00 sharp.
