Americano Padel sessions take place at Ferrum High School’s Bas Padel Courts on Friday evenings.

Event organiser Rubeena Jadwat describes these small events as more of a social gathering than an official tournament, giving players the chance to enjoy the game together.

She hosts these sessions every week, alternating Fridays between the men and women.

In her view, it’s a great way to stay fit while enjoying good food, friendly competition and plenty of laughter.

“This is not really a tournament – just a fun evening with a little competitiveness, lots of laughter, and stress relief,” she said.

The ladies, especially, make a point of bringing delicious food, snacks and desserts to share during the games.

Congratulations to Sameeha (the youngest player) and Raeesa for winning last week’s tournament with 106 points.
