Vryheid Species Classic 2013

IT IS almost that time of the year again, when Vryheid Light Tackle Boat Club is having its annual Vryheid Species Classic Fishing Competition.
Everyone that has been there in the past will know, that it is one of the highlights of the year in the Vryheid region. Fishermen come from all over the country to join in the competition and meet up with old friends that they have made over the years.
There will be activities for the children while mom and dad try to catch that “BIG ONE” that will see them get their share of R30 000 in prizes.
This is truly not an event that you would want to miss out on.
Competition details: Place: Klipfontein Dam, Vryheid. Date: November 2 and 3. Tickets: Priced at R 150 per person. (Tickets sold at Bundu Outdoor Centre. Ask for Ian Meyer)
