This weekend sees the start of the Midlands Open and Senior Singles Championships for both men and ladies

This weekend sees the start of the Midlands Open and Senior Singles Championships for both men and ladies, and here we wish everyone good bowling in this important event on the calendar. The Sarel’s Workshop Business League is still going great guns, with all the bowlers really enjoying themselves.
The split has been done and will continue in this manner for the next few weeks, so keep trying. Section A is headed by Paddy’s Diesel ‘B’, Spar and Sanlam ‘A’; and Section B is headed by Microsure, Nolands Adv Services and Hospice in third place. Well done to all!
This month’s birthdays are only men, and we wish a happy birthday and a healthy year ahead to John Blott, Pradeep Singh and Peter Wildman. Go, guys!
