The Sarel’s Workshop Business League is halfway now and everyone is really enjoying their Wednesday evenings
Our congratulations to the members who did so well in the Midlands Singles Championships. Well done to Bennie Malan on winning the Senior Men’s, Veronica Malan on being runner-up in the Ladies’ Seniors, Andries de Kock on being runner-up in the Open Men’s, and Barbara Elworthy on being runner-up in the Open Section. Well done to all of you!
The Sarel’s Workshop Business League is halfway now and everyone is really enjoying their Wednesday evenings with good bowls and fellowship. The log standings at the moment are: Section A: RFH – 48 points, De Franca Spar – 40, Neals Tyres – 38. Section B: Microsure – 34 points, Dedekinds – 31, Standard Bank – 28. You all have three more games to get to the top, so go for it! Neil Mackenzie was the lucky winner of the Lamb Draw for the second time – you really are lucky, Neil!
This weekend sees the Men’s Fours teams travelling to Harrismith, where Eric Robinson, Clyde Newton, Bennie Malan and Price Tarr will be defending their win of the Prince Arthur Trophy last year. Other Klipbank teams will be there to back them up. Good bowling, guys, and safe travelling.
