Final games determine who gets to the top
The final games are going to be the deciding factor in this most enjoyable event.
To start off, my sincere apologies to Adam Bookless whose team won the Prince Arthur Trophy in Harrismith. Sorry, my mind was not working that day, Adam! They had a good win.
Good luck to the Baleris, Lorraine Kirsten and Jill Atkinson who are all battling it out at the moment in Ficksburg at the Cherry Festival. Lucky people, bet it’s not so hot there!
The Sarel’s Workshop Business League is really hot now. The final games are going to be the deciding factor in this most enjoyable event. Good luck this week and it’s going to be interesting to see who makes it to the top.
Do you stop to read the notice board? At the moment, there are entry forms on the board that you should read so you can enter the tournaments.
Also on the board is the list for the prize-giving / Xmas dinner which is on November 29 at 6pm.
The Prelim Masters Championships are being played in Richards Bay this weekend, and we wish all the participants the best of luck and a safe journey.
Irene and Ninnian Ross are having a very stressful holiday, with Ninnian in Stellenbosch Hospital having had a gall bladder operation, on top of the floods they are experiencing down there. We wish Ninnian a speedy recovery. We can only hope things improve for them.
