Nathaniel showed excellent maturity with the bat

Endumeni Development and Farmers faced off in a T20 game on Wednesday night.
Batting first, Endumeni Development made 164/4 in their allotted overs. Nishen top-scored with 62, and 12-year-old Nathaniel showed excellent maturity with the bat, making 51. James and Morné were the best bowlers for Farmers, taking 1/25 and 1/20 respectively. In reply Farmers could only manage 146/9.
Kyle top-scored with 48 and Steven chipped in with 22. Zeze took 3/24 and Mfundo took 1/15 as Endumeni Development notched up another victory.
On Friday night Magnacorp Legends and Castle Knights took each other on in a T20 game – sadly no stats were handed in for that match.
On Saturday the rain brought an end to the game between Mascor and Ace Eagles in the 30-over league, and both teams had to settle for a point.
In the other 30-over league game, Endumeni Development and Castle Knights did battle at the Oval.
Castle Knights batted first and were bundled out for 107. Hoosen top-scored with 17 and Skhumbuzo made 16.
Aqueel and Mfundo were the chief destroyers for Endumeni, taking 4/28 and 3/13 respectively. Endumeni Development then chased down the score with 14 overs to spare and eight wickets in hand. Nishen was in terrific form with the bat, scoring 68 not out, and Ashvir made 20.
Castle Knights’s best bowlers were Asheel, who took 1/15, and Kyle, who took 1/17.
