Squash Club sees an end to ladder league
All squash players who participated in the event enjoyed the competitiveness of the league. While the league proved to be tough, it gave weaker players the opportunity to take on good players.
Paradise Squash Club hosted its ladder league from March to May.
All squash players who participated in the event enjoyed the competitiveness of the league.
While the league proved to be tough, it gave weaker players the opportunity to take on good players.
This opportunity allowed players to gain experience and improve their skills.
The ladder league’s focus was to obtain the seeding of players from the best to the weakest.
On completion of the league, the order from top ranked to the lowest rank player was pinned up on the notice boards of the courts.
The top ten players were Faisal Shaik, Dali Mahaye, Farhad Karrim, Roshan Ramphall, Faizal Moola , Essop Moosa, Viren SIngh, Pat Patchoo, Wasim Aziz and Wasim Akram.
The executive committee would like to thank the players for their sportsmanship and support.
The next league will start in August and all interested people must enter the league by July 31.
Entry requirements will be available at Paradise Squash Courts.
The committee wishes Muslim players and the Muslim community all the best for the holy month of Ramadan.
