Zaine clinches cancer golf challenge

Thanks to Sanlam for hosting the fundraiser at the Dundee Country Club

Friday, June 6’s 11-hole IPS meat competition was won (again) by Kevin Donaldson on 21 points! Second was Abri Pretorius on 20 points, counted out from Dave Donaldson. The two-clubs were carded by Kevin Donaldson and Dave Donaldson.
The Sanlam Golf Challenge played on Saturday, June 7 attracted 37 players.
Thanks to Sanlam for hosting the fundraiser at the Dundee Country Club. The winners were as follows: A Division: Zaine Milne (36 points, counted out from Brian du Toit and Lionel Shawe).
B Division: Churchill Maphanga (40 points); second Riaan Prinsloo (38 points); and third Humphrey Browning (37 points).
C Division: Wessel Odendaal played like a pro (five birdies, 49 points); second YC Ebrahim (47 points); and third (a newcomer to golfing) Yasheer Govinder (42 points).
Ladies’ A Division:

Vlooi Slabbert (39 points). Ladies’ B Division: Dolly Bradbury (30 points).

Two-clubs were carded by Wessel Odendaal on No.s 8, 12 and 16, and YC Ebrahim on No. 4. The jackpot was won by YC Ebrahim on 12 points. Longest Day was played by G Pienaar; Longest Drive – first Riaan Pienaar, second Silindo Khanyile and third Sifiso Kunene; Ladies’ Longest Drive – Dolly Bradbury.
Well done to Vlooi Slabbert who holed out on No. 8 at Newcastle NN Ladies’ League.
