Bayern Munich defeats Manchester United

After a two week break, the Newcastle Futsal League (NFL) kicked off with a soccer induced frenzy last Sunday evening.

With teams eager to clinch a win and to get the fixture log up to date, all participating teams played multiple games each on the night.

Starting the night’s fixtures was Catalans FC going against a determined Barcelona. The match-up seemed one sided as Catalans FC defeated Barcelona with a score of five-nil.

Dortmund and Newcastle United played the second game and the teams proved to be evenly matched as the game ended with a one-all draw,

Still tired from its first match against Barcelona, Catalans FC then played against Galatasary. Despite its staggering victory over Barcelona, Catalans FC could not stop Galatsary from winning the game with a two-nil score.

Bayern Munich outplayed Manchester United by securing a win of two-one.

Wimbledon FC defeated Africa FC with a score of two-one,

While Newcastle United drew its first game against Celtic Rangers, the team was determined to win. Despite Celtic Rangers’ best efforts, the team lost two-nil to Newcastle United.

Catalans FC continued its losing streak after being defeated by Esperanzi FC with a score of one-nil,

Bayern Munich lost its first game of the night against Dortmund with a score of two-one.

Wimbledon FC defeated Barcelona with a score of five-nil.

The night’s action was concluded by Manchester United and Esperanzi. Both teams played at optimal level, but with a strong defence on both sides, the teams drew with a score of nil-nil.

Newcastle United still tops the league log with Wimbledon FC following in second place and Dortmund in third.

Despite Esperanzi FC’s first win of the season, the team still remains in 11th place on the log.
