CURRIE CUP: Sharks match confirmed for Newcastle

It’s confirmed – the Cell C Sharks will play in Newcastle on June 18.
In a press release this week, businessman, Johan Pieters revealed the Northern KwaZulu-Natal Rugby Sub Union is a confirmed host of a Currie Cup clash.
On June 18, the Cell C Sharks face the Steval Pumas at the Arbor Park grounds.
The home turf of Boschpick Newcastle Highlanders will be transformed into a mini Kings Park, complete with food stalls, a beer garden and VIP seating.
Proceedings begin at 1pm, with the main game taking place at 5pm – make sure you circle this date on the calendar!
Tickets for the day are R30 for children and R60 for adults.
“Vulintaba Country Estate, as the main sponsor, will also host a banquet on Friday evening at its hotel, for the Sharks XV. The community is urged to book a table as soon as possible.”
Prior to that, the Sharks XV will host a rugby clinic for primary schools and will avail themselves for autographs during the afternoon.
