Saturday’s club sponsored betterball was played by a pretty thin field of 16, as many of our regulars were invited to play in competition out of town.

However, those that played at home enjoyed an excellent day out on a course that is in pristine condition.

Fred Vickers and Paddy Geraty, that awesome pair, shot an amazing 47 points to clinch first position.

Vaughn Ric Hansen and George van Niekerk were counted out for 45 points by Gordon Smith and Vino Harribhai – welcome back Vino. Closest to the pin on number three was Fred Vickers and Fred also putted in for two.

That gentleman Vaughn, was closest to the pin on number 16. The jackpot was won by Gordon Smith and Vino Harribhai on 12 points.
