Cavanagh Trail Run makes its debut
The inaugural event of the Cavanagh Trail Run will be held at Wagendrift Dam this Sunday, June 19
Calling all runners and walkers to haul out your running or walking shoes and join us for a great day out.
The inaugural event of the Cavanagh Trail Run will be held at Wagendrift Dam this Sunday, June 19. There will be a 10km and 20km distance through lovely farmland incorporating the Bushmans River Wildlife Reserve where you can expect to see many species of antelope as well as giraffe.
It includes magnificent views of the ‘Berg and the dam. There will be no charge for the event but the Ezemvelo Parks Board gate entry fee will apply.
It will be self-supporting, so you will need to carry your own hydration with you. Start time will be at 7am for the 20km and 7.15am for the 10km.
