On Saturday, July 30, 44 players teed off in good paying conditions to play in the monthly Skaap Dag, which was sponsored by Paul Fick.
First were Melton Schiever and Dave Rudderham on 51 points.
Second were Bruce le Roux and Derick Braithwaite on 50 points. Third on a count out were Harry Koovarjee and Deejay Ramdhav on 48 points.
In fourth position were Lionel Laatz and Gordon Smith on 48 points. Fifth place went to George van Niekerk and Gordon cross on 47 points. Closest to the pin on number three was Rubin Meades.
Two club winners were Bruce le Roux, Derick Braithwaite, Rubin Meades, Paddy Geraty, Arnie Boettiger and harry Koovarjee. Special thanks to Paul and Jackson Fick for a wonderful sponsored day.
It was lovely seeing Helene Wheeler back on the course. Friday’s competition was won by Ram Ramwater on 20 points. Next weekend, August 6, is the monthly mug sponsored by Lalparsad Inc.
