On Saturday, September 24, 28 players teed off in good playing conditions to play in the monthly Skaap Dag sponsored by Seo Mthethwa of Nu Dawn Eggs.
First on 51 points were Dave Diedrick and Garth Fairfield. Second on 49 points on a count out were Paul Wagenaar and George van Niekerk. Third on 49 points were Carlo Piagesti and Peter Woods.
Fourth also on 49 points were Seo Mthethwa and Richard Naidoo. Closest to the pin on number three was Gordon Cross. Two club winners were Gordon Cross on number three and Dave Diedrick on number 16.
Jackpot winners were Dave Diedrick and Garth Fairfield on 12 points. Special thanks to Seo and Nu Dawn Eggs for a wonderful sponsored day.
The Wednesday competition was won by Gordon Chotu and Johan Wagenaar, which was Johan’s last game as he is leaving for Spain to do bullfighting, or was it rugby?

On October 15 will be the Midlands Beer Distributors Golf Day in memory of Petros Madlala. Thanks to the Environmental Affairs Department in Ladysmith for sponsoring trees that were planted around the course.
