NEWCASTLE – Senior karateka of Northern Kwa-Zulu Natal JKA recently participated in a training session in Durban.

Using the opportunity to spend quality time together, they booked in at Emoyeni Lodge and exchanged stories around a cosy fire.
Class on Saturday morning was led by Sensei Rob Ferreira, a 7th Dan and winner of numerous world titles, at the College of the Empty Hand in Durban. The training was
intensive and concentration was the key element to enable maximum performance combined with hip movement, speed and agility.
This was followed by a braai where the spirit of camaraderie reigned and friendships were made. The end to a good weekend, as always, is one that has everyone arriving back home safe, sound and satisfied. Oss!
