Full field for Franco Lapera Memorial tournament

The Estcourt Bowling Club hosted the Franco Lapera Memorial Tournament, which attracted 60 players from all over the district

The business league is well underway and good fun was had by all.

On Wednesday night the Afriscan 1 team had a ‘hot streak’. On Thursday night, there was a close finish between N3 Fire and Brokensha.

On Sunday the Estcourt Bowling Club hosted the Franco Lapera Memorial Tournament, which attracted 60 players from all over the district.

Winners were from Harrismith – Adam Bookles, Adrian Bookles and Pierre Swart.

In second place were the Estcourt team of Malcolm Werner, Pam Drewitt and Russell Potgieter. In third place were Tammy Redman, Mark Claase and Vivian Seager. Thanks to the sponsors for making this day a huge success.

Upcoming events: Business Bowling League every Wednesday and Thursday and the Ladysmith Trips on November 6.
