Adding to the festivities, Santa Claus made an appearance, much to the delight of the children.
However, due to the extreme heat over the past weekend, his sleigh was out of action and the Fire Department had to bring him to the Oval Track.
“On behalf of the Oval Track, we would like to Stephanus Botha from the Fire Department for organising that Santa Claus be brought.”
The day was filled with laughter and fun, with racers parking their cars for the holidays.
