Join in the running fun on Saturdays - same time, same place
Young and old gather at the Country Club on Saturdays to enjoy the great early-morning exercise of the ‘parkrun’.
51 runners braved the rain and the mud this last Saturday, the event being more of a ‘slip and slide’ than a run because of the glorious rain that fell.
This was the first ‘parkrun’ of 2017, and runners and walkers alike were well-equipped for the route, some even carrying umbrellas.
A big thanks to the volunteers who had a challenging job in the rain, and many thanks to the golf club for the facilities, especially to the greenkeeper for mowing the route.
