On Saturday, the golf club hosted a four ball alliance club competition with a small field of players in good all-round conditions.

Winners on the day were Fred Vickers, Paddy Geraty, Lionel Laatz and Gordon Smith on 122 points. Second were Dave Diedrick, Sam Sewsunker, H Ismail and Deejay Ramdhav on 120 points.

The jackpot was won by Kamy Baboolal, Gordon Chotu, Deejay Ramdhav, Dave, Fred, Paddy, Lionel and Gordon Smith on 30 points.

Closest to pin number three was S Weyers, a visitor from Newcastle.

All golfers please note that on January 28 there will be a Skaap Dag sponsored by Melton Schiever and a supper after prize giving for Dave and Mel Phillips who will be leaving Estcourt for a bigger gold course in the Eastern Cape.
