Cricket season moves into high gear

The third week of the KFC Night League recommenced on January 31, when Asians earned a second consecutive win over Lennoxton, by 34 runs.

February also saw one of the most comprehensive performances of the season so far.

Eagles scored a mighty 114 runs for the loss of six wickets in their 20 overs, and took just 52 deliveries to pin Warriors down to 20 runs.

Paradise had another notable performance against AMSA.

The team continued its winning ways by setting a target of 169 for the loss of five, and then crushing AMSA for just 48 runs.

In Group A, Asians and Eagles are joint leaders with four points, ahead of Underdogs on two and both Lennoxton and Warriors on zero.
