The monthly Skaap Dag sponsored by Colin Francis was played in perfect weather with some good scores. Fred Vickers and Paddy Geraty won on 46 points, followed by Deejay Ramdhav and Kamy Baboolal on 45 and third were Warren Smith and Paul Wagenaar on 44.

The latter played out of his socks on the first nine but the wheels came off on the second nine. One wonders if he should not take a spare wheel for the back nine. The winners walked off with a leg of lamb each, with second place a shoulder each and the third place enough mutton chops for a month.

Prizes went as far down as seventh place all receiving mutton packs. Closest to the pin was David Rudderham who also made the only two club. The jackpot was won by Fred and Paddy on 13 points.

Times must be hard out there as there were no less than six farmers in the prizes. Thank you again Colin for a super day A big thank you to Ajeesh Lalparsad for his sponsorship for the monthly mug with Mortimer Toyota taking over from this Saturday’s mug.

The annual general meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 15 at 6pm. Please note that no more than 15 minutes may be spent at the halfway.

Score cards must be completed with date, names and surnames as well as the addition of scores. Both player and marker must sign the card. Don’t forget Saturday’s monthly mug sponsored by Mortimer Toyota.
