Braytons tops the bowls table
Braytons leaped from 11th after the first round to top the table after the second round
The second week of the Overdale Farming business league was played last Thursday.
Even though it’s only the second round, Braytons leaped from 11th after the first round to top the table after the second round. The leader board looks as follows:
First: Braytons 6(+21), second: Up Town Girls 6(+16), Third: The Fockers 6(+13) and fourth: Flower Power 6(+5).
A ‘spider’ was played in order to help raise funds for the KZNCB u/15 and u/20 travelling to Bloemfontein in April and was won by Lourens Roos. Thanks to all who contributed towards this cause. Congratulations to Alice and Ron Howe from Newcastle on winning the Northern Zone Mixed Pairs that was played in Vryheid over the past weekend. John and Alta from Vryheid were runners up. Congrats to Nan and Des on winning their section but fell two shots short in the playoffs to advance through to the semi’s.
