“We are proud to say that under the leadership of ANC Regional Secretary Mr Sipho Hlomuka, we have seen the movement of closing the gap of transformation within the organisation. With the assistance of ANCYL Chairperson Mr Nkosi, unity is seen in action. We would also like to encourage young people to participate in sport,” said ANCYL Eddie Smith Branch Secretary Sindido Phuthini.

The event saw numerous teams taking part, but one team had to win in the respective sporting codes. Young Killers FC won the soccer tournament, which saw them leaving with trophies and brand new soccer gear. In the netball division, Indomitable Girls took first spot.
