Businessmen sport a round of good quality golf
Businessmen from far and wide convened at the Newcastle Golf Club on Friday, March 31 for a grand game of golf.
BARRY HERTZOG PARK – Businessmen from far and wide convened at the Newcastle Golf Club on Friday, March 31 for a grand game of golf.
While many golfers brought their A game, some sought the lighter side and also indulged in a fun miniature golf game near hole 5, which was hosted by the Newcastle Advertiser.
The results of the day were as follows:
Barry Glutz, Ronnie Acker, Willy Clayton and Willie Bruin came in first with 108 points.
Graham Gibson, Wayne Meikle-Braes, Hanelie le Roux and Allan McArthur cut it close with 107 points in second position.
In third place, Riaan Swanepoel, Stephen Shaw, George Meyer and Eugene Hauptfleisch accumulated 104 points (onco).
Elred and Jenny Darvall, Richard Clayton and David Lues came in fourth with 104 points (onco).
While Lionel Phillips, Pieter de Meyer, Tony Sharp and Deon Pfeil finished fifth with 104 points (onco).
