BARRY HERTZOG PARK – Melo’s Pub and Grill hosted a golf day at Newcastle Golf Club on Saturday, April 1.
Although the sun was out in all its glory, golfers were eager to take on the verdant course.
The results for the golf day were as follows:
Robbie Niemann, Wessie van der Westhuizen, Ian Sheville and W. Stander were placed first with 98 points.
Eugene Hauptfleisch, Basie van Heerden, George Meyer and Eben Botha earned 96 points.
Dale Schnuir, R. Britz, Shane Noble and John McGregor came in third with 95 points (onco).
Tinkie van der Heever, Owen van Aarde, Richard Clayton and Johnny Saunders were fourth with 95 points (onco).
Coming in fifth place. were Ebert Koorts, Boland Koorts, Brandt van der Berg and J.P. van Rensburg with 92 points.
