Paul Wagenaar sponsored his own birthday golf day on Wednesday with a betterball stableford scramble drive, which was well supported.
Melton Schiever and Bruce Le Roux, both long off the tee scored a massive 51 points followed by Viren Omardath and Deejay Ramdhav on 47 and third Wilfie and Lional Laatz on 46.
Bruce made the only two club on number 16. A lovely curry and rice was served for supper and a big thank you must go to Paul for his generous sponsorship.
Paddy Geraty, who posted a flat round of 72 off a 10 handicap was well supported by Fred Vickers scoring 47 points on Saturday, winning the jackpot on 12 points.
The two of them winning so often that we must consider a rubberstamp for the reports. Moekie Ghasitha, his driving coming on well, was again his own enemy by three putting no less than three greens.

His partner, Richard Naidoo when checking his score history, found that he entered a score of gross 73 and now playing off a 17 instead of 21.
Despite all of this they scored 45 points for second place. Fred and Moekie made two clubs. It was nice to see Justin Boettiger on the course still driving the ball miles.
