The only highlight for Sentraal in what was a tough day against Vryheid was the fact that Skindo scored a try for both the second and first teams on the same day.
Sentraal is not sure if this is not some kind of rugby record but it did not sweeten the bitter taste of defeat: the second team went down at home 5 – 28 and the first team, 5 – 46.

Skindo scored the second team’s only points and later, came on as a reserve for the first team and again crossed the line.
That was the only good news in a day where the Sentraal pack dominated against the visitors from across the Buffalo but could not convert possession into points as they lacked penetration. These losses came off the back of two good wins against the Mighty Buffalos of Ladysmith the previous week – Sentraal’s first team won 0-52 with Johann Bacher scoring two tries.
The second team defeated their hosts 10-13.
Sentraal’s next game is this Saturday at home against Volksrust. The second team kicks off at 2pm and the first team at around 3.30pm at the DHS grounds. Please come and support them!
