Red-hot off-road motoring action at Battlefields Country Lodge

The weather is freezing but the excitement is red hot

Dundee is the off-road motoring sports capital of the country this weekend with both the SA Cross Country Moto Series and the SA Cross Country Series Motor Racing events taking place today and tomorrow.
The Moto Series (motorbikes and quads) race is currently underway, starting and finishing at Battlefields Country Lodge. Racers had to complete a 100km-race loop three times.
The weather is freezing but the excitement is red hot. Ross Branch is the favourite in the open class along with Tim Young and Tristan Purdon.
The Motor Racing action will get underway from 10 am tomorrow at the same venue with the Toyota Gazoo Racing team the favourites with reigning champions Lee Poulter and Rob Howie the favourites with Giniel de Villiers and Dennis Murphy.
The motor racing action starts at 10 am tomorrow at Battlefields Country Lodge with prize giving at 5.30pm. There are spectator points on the route. You can download the SACCS app RallySafe on your phone to follow the action. Plenty of refreshment and entertainment at the venue.
