Courier cricket team go down fighting against RABCO
It didn't go as planned but it was a lot of fun
It was a baptism of fire for the Northern Natal Courier team when then took on RABCO in the Action Cricket Business League. Irony was in the air as RABCO are of course the previous owners of the Courier..
The ragtag team (much like the Guardians of the Galaxy), went into the game hopeful.
The RABCO team (much like a well-oiled machine), went into the game eager to crush the hopes of the Courier team and crush them they did. Roger batted like Collis King while the Courier lads were still trying to make sense of the rules.
The final score resembled a one-sided affair but if scoring more aches and injuries was the aim of the game, the Northern Natal Courier team definitely came out victors.
What’s next for them?
On Thursday they take on Dundee Brake and Clutch at 7:15pm, confident that theycan put on a much better showing.
