Dylan is ready to run with the Bulls

With huge potential and an opportunity to do great things, don't be surprised when you see Dylan one day, running with the Bulls

He will always be a Sharks fan by heart, but for now, Dylan Maré will be a young Blue Bull.

The talented lock from Dundee High School has always been in love with the game from an early age and is now on the doorstep of playing it professionally.
Dylan has been awarded a full bursary to study at the University of Tuks where he will be playing for the Tuks Young Guns team. If he impresses during the trial period with the team, Dylan will be representing the u/19 Blue Bulls team.

Dylan will be studying towards becoming a Chartered Accountant while at Tuks but is eager to impress on the rugby field.
“I will keep focused on my academics but I have a foot in the door and this is a huge opportunity for me, so I’m going to give it my best.”
“When I got the call, I didn’t even think about it, I just said yes.”
Many have chirped him about becoming a Blue Bull but Dylan has assured them that he will always stay a Sharks supporter. With one eye on the new adventure that awaits him, Dylan is also looking forward to Derby Day and the clash against Sarel Cilliers.

“It will be sad to end my school rugby career as this is the last game of the season but we want to end it with a win.”
While he may have found it difficult at times to balance school and rugby, Dylan urged all youngsters to manage their time correctly. “Listen in class so that when it comes to exams, you don’t have to study too hard.”

He also motivated young sports stars not to be disheartened just because they come from a small town.
“We always think that you won’t get spotted by anyone in a small town but just always give your best, put in the extra effort and you will reap the rewards.”

Dylan thanked God for blessing him with this opportunity and Mr Smith for all that he has done.

With huge potential and an opportunity to do great things, don’t be surprised when you see Dylan one day, running with the Bulls.
