Bowlers asked to pull together and support charity
Please come to Klipbank on Sunday and have a really enjoyable time, at the same time assisting Hospice to raise much-needed funds
It was a very quiet and relaxing weekend for Klipbank. Normal Tabs-In were played on Saturday afternoon, while one team of Klipbank members travelled up to Harrismith to play in a tournament.
Some members were fortunate enough to celebrate Liz and Eric Robinson’s 50th wedding anniversary with them and have a very pleasant evening, with much reminiscing about the good old days.
Some members decided to arrange another Tabs-In for Sunday morning, and a very pleasant and fun-filled morning was had by 10 members enjoying the beautiful weather.
This Sunday is the Hospice Day being held at Klipbank and everybody is welcome to make up a team of three players. All non-bowlers are invited to come along and enjoy this special day.
I am sure everybody is aware of the wonderful work and support Hospice gives to our community, and as all charities receive no monetary support from the government, it is up to us (the general public) to pull together and support these organisations.
Please come to Klipbank on Sunday and have a really enjoyable time, at the same time assisting Hospice to raise much-needed funds.
