Three new runners tackle Time Trials

Ladies 4km Jog/Walk: Mabotse Mawila completed in a time of 38m41s.
Ladies 4km Walk: Phindile Ndlela and Mbali Mawila both finished in a time of 39m08s.
Ladies 4km Run: Thobeka Mbatha finished ahead of a chasing pack in a time of 19m46s. Thabisile Phungula – 23m11s came in second with Ntombi Sithole and Sanele Zwane (Personal Best) tying for third – 25m38s. Gcinile Nyathi – 34m10s, Thabisele Ngema – 40m22s and Sne Mlambo 42m50s brought up the rear.
Mens 2km Run: Njabulo Duma – 9m27s set a new personal best.
Mens 4km Run: Ngcebo Phungula – 12m57s finished first, ahead of Ayanda Buthelezi – 13m57s, Bongani Sabelo – 14m16s and Joel Khumalo – 160m9s. Kheta Mchunu – 17m30s came in next followed by Philemon Zondi – 17m52s, Zwelihle Duma – 18m24s (Personal Best), Sphephelo Ntshingila – 19m02s and Siphiwe Malinga – 19m20s (Personal Best). Lindani Vilakazi – 19m29s also set a new personal best time ahead of Bongani Myeni – 19m34s, Sikhumbuso Moloi – 19m40s (Personal Best) and Reggie Nkosi – 20m52s. Pat Sibisi – 21m22s and Sandile Lamula – 24m28s (Personal Best) were the last two athletes to cross the finish line.
