Seniors bowl over the opposition to finish third

The club wishes those travelling to Scottburgh on Sunday all the very best for the week of bowls that lies ahead

The past weekend saw the play-off of the KZNCB and Northern Zone being played in Eshowe. Hearty congratulations to the Ladies team of Hannelie Arndt, Essie Slabbert, Louisa Vreken and Eslie Pretorius on winning the Northern Zone Ladies Senior’s Fours. The team then went on to play in the playoffs of the KZNCB District and ending up coming third overall. Again, well-done ladies, the club are super proud of your achievement.
The darts and pool challenge came to an end last Thursday evening. A fun evening followed by a prize-giving and a bring-and-braai was thoroughly enjoyed by all. A big thank you to Jacques Bierbaum for all his hard work in arranging prizes and on running the competition.
Third place went to ‘Dumb and Dumber’ counted out from ‘The Weasels” in second place on 14 points. The eventual winners on 16 points were team ‘Double J’. Congratulations to Johan and Joff and a big thank you to all who supported this challenge over the past few weeks.
