William Gilbert fishes to victory
He attended the SA Champs at Douglas held on the Orange and Vaal rivers during the school holidays
William Gilbert attended the KwaZulu-Natal Fly Fishing Trials during the year and was selected to compete at the South Africa Youth Fly Fishing Competition.

On October 4, at the KZN awards, William was awarded first in KZN. He was also made captain of the Under 19 A team for KZN.
He attended the SA Champs at Douglas held on the Orange and Vaal rivers during the school holidays from October 5 to 8. William finished in second place in SA receiving a silver medal. Adam Hawke won gold, he is also from KZN.

Team KZN won gold and came home with many trophies. The next step will be trials in the new year to select the Protea team to attend world champs in Poland.
