Bowls Business League starts off swimmingly

Business teams braved the weather to battle it out on the green, unperturbed by each untimely, yet welcome, drop of rain.

NOT even cool, rainy conditions could put a damper on the launch of the November Business League at Vryheid Bowling Club on November 7 as business teams braved the weather to battle it out on the green, unperturbed by each untimely, yet welcome, drop of rain.

Fourteen teams took part in the opening games, which were played out in a great competitive atmosphere and high spirits as Natal Plumbers took an early lead with +26 points, just ahead of Dales van Heerden on +24 points. LMS Brokers and Build It followed closely with +22 and +18 points respectively.
