Fighting cancer by playing volleyball
Teams from out of town also showed their support and participated in the tournament
A volleyball tournament was held on Saturday (November 4) at the Indoor Sports Complex.
The Emnambithi Volleyball Association (EVA) held the stunning event, which started at 8am and carried on well into the afternoon. All the proceeds went towards the Cancer Association of South Africa (Cansa), with a whopping R10,000 raised.
A huge crowd gathered to watch the action that unfolded.
The supporters cheered on their teams as the ball went back and forth until a point was scored.
Teams from out of town also showed their support and participated in the tournament.
Men and women were out on the court, ensuring that both genders were represented.
Young and old attended, ending off another successful year for the EVA with this tournament for Cansa.
A huge thank you to everyone who supported the tournament on the day. All your hard work really paid off in support of a worthy cause.
