Weather finally behaves for bowlers
The club has one last bowls day planned before they welcome in 2018!
Finally players could get some play underway for the Kirkland Auctioneers Bowls Business League this last Thursday evening albeit under very chilly conditions. It was great to see everyone rearing to go! Each section is still tightly contested with very little in it for the top teams. The leader board as follows:
Section 1: Sages 10 + 31; BB Transport 10 +12 and Rabco 10 +12.
Section 2: Liquorice All Sorts 12 + 29; Flower Power 10 + 31 and LRA 10 + 23.
The club will be taking a break for now and will hopefully end the league at the end of January. We look forward to seeing you all next year.
The club has one last bowls day planned before they welcome in 2018! The Bowls Toy Run takes place this Saturday at 1pm. Bring your aunties, uncles, grannies, grandpas, brothers, sisters and kids. ALL ARE WELCOME. And don’t worry about not having your own bowls, the club has bowls available for you to use. Come down to the club and join us in this fun-filled day and it’s all for a good cause. Remember to bring along a toy and R20. Braai fires will be lit so bring along your basket too. We look forward to seeing you all on Saturday.
