Festive run for local athletes

Runners also dressed up in their Christmas outfits to add to the Christmas cheer

Four Estcourt runners took part in the Illovo 15km Christmas Challenge on Sunday.

It was perfect overcast weather for running, which added to the very festive Christmas atmosphere at the race.

The runners were all welcomed with delicious crumpets with syrup at the finish.

Runners also dressed up in their Christmas outfits to add to the Christmas cheer. Marianne Smith and Belinda Smith wore Father Christmas tights.
