On Saturday Estcourt Golf Club hosted a club sponsored betterball. Father and son team, Melton and Tuppy Schiever won on an impressive 48 points, with Tuppy firing in birdie after birdie resulting in a lovely cut of his handicap.

Second spot went to the team of Carlo Piagesti and Michael Stander on 46 points. Michael is also a new member at our club and we wish him all the best for this year with hopefully regular attendance.

Third on a count out went to Philip Boshoff and Richard Naidoo. Special mention has to be made about Lionel Laatz, he made an eagle on the ninth and this was also the only two club on the day.

Lionel also won the closest to the pin on the third but failed in securing another two club. This coming Saturday will be our Skaap Dag sponsored by Ajeesh Lalparsad, Richard Naidoo and Mukie Ghasitha.
