Great turnout at second bowls social
The next social day will be on March 3, play to start at 2pm.
The club hosted its second social day for the year this last Saturday. It was a great turnout despite many of the members being away in Durban with the quadrangular and others honouring commitments. Numbers didn’t allow for pairs to be played so 6 teams of trips were drawn instead. The winners of the stone were Hans, Brian and Brokkies. Runners-up were Rita, Jacques and Henning-John with Dirk, Sylvia and Louisa taking the first prize. The next social day will be on March 3, play to start at 2pm.
The FedAuto Bowls Business League gets underway tomorrow on Thursday, February 8. The Club trusts that this league will be blessed with great weather and fellowship. The club will be making hamburgers, however for those that would like to braai, fires will be lit so bring along your basket and enjoy the evening with the bowlers.
The club would like to wish Nan all the very best as she prepares to take part in the S A Masters this coming weekend. The club knows you will do well Nan…and wish you safe travels and they will all be rooting for you!
