Chins up, ladies, you can only get better
None of the KZN Country sections had any good games and therefore came last in the tournament

Wednesday afternoon’s Tabs-In League is still going strong and still being well supported.
Friday saw most of Klipbank’s ladies leave for Durban to play in the Quadrangular. Sadly, I cannot report much good news… The only message I received was to say that none of the KZN Country sections had any good games and therefore had come last in the tournament.
Hopefully things will go better for them in March when they travel all over the country to take part in the Provincial games. Chins up, ladies, and you can only get better!
This Friday (February 9), Bob and Des will be hosting a supper at Klipbank. I hope you have all put your names down – we will be eating Bob’s famous oxtail, so hopefully he doesn’t have a meltdown and produces a first-class meal (most of us have watched Masterchef and know what happens in the pressure tests).
It has been decided to also try and have some fun on the same evening, so new darts have been purchased and all keen darts-men are welcome to bring their own implements; let the games begin.
Saturday sees the Club Mixed Pairs begin. The Midlands committee will hold their mid-year meeting in the morning at Klipbank.
Birthday wishes must go out to: Lorraine Kirsten, Liefie Oosthuizen, Bertus van der Westhuizen, Jimmy Clarke and Mike Wood. Hope you all have a wonderful day and a super year!
