Garth wins February Mug and Viren Mug of Mugs
A reminder to all golfers, Estcourt will host the league fixture on February 18, the course will be closed for the day
On Saturday, Estcourt Golf Club hosted their monthly Mortimer Toyota Monthly Mug. This included the Mug of Mugs, which is a separate competition between all the Mug winners of 2017.

Garth Fairfield won the mug on an impressive 65 nett, followed by Viren Omardath on 66, who also won the Mug of Mugs, and then in third on a nett of 68 was Sam Sewsunker who took the honours by the flip of a coin after all formats of count outs between him and DJ Ramdhav were still level.

The Stableford competition had the same three golfers with Garth on 43, Viren on 42 and Sam on 40. Viren won the only two club on the day and H Ismail won the closest for two on the second.

Earlier in the morning we also had the shoot out between all the 2017 winners of the closest for two on the second hole, this was won by Luke Schiever.
