Lamiah Dlungwana and Lamisha Pheerbhay had waves of fun at Hilldene Swimming Pool on Sunday.

Cousins Lamiah Dlungwana and Lamisha Pheerbhay had been anticipating their visit to the Hilldene Swimming Pool on Sunday.

The swimmers waited patiently to shrug off the unbearable heat by jumping and rolling around in the bright blue pool. Flapping their arms and feet in the kiddies’ pool, splashes of water wet the pavement.

“I love swimming,” expressed Lamiah excitedly.

They thoroughly enjoyed the last lap of the swim season ahead of autumn.

The girls had fun cooling off and relaxing in the water while their moms kept a watchful eye from the poolside.

They spent the afternoon splashing around energetically pretending to be fish in the water and playing all sorts of fun games together.
