Estcourt bowls to Newcastle at the KZN Inland promotion league game at Lambert Park on Sunday.

On Sunday, a KZN Inland promotion league game was held between Estcourt and Newcastle at Lambert Park.

Estcourt won the toss and elected to bat first, Estcourt managed to score 206 in 47 overs, being bowled out.

Top scorers for Estcourt were Sami – 44, Irfan -32, Lloyd – 24 and Prenay – 23.

Top bowlers for Newcastle were Chris – 4/32, Ansar – 3/43 and Jaan – 2/44.

Newcastle batting second managed to score 118 in 34 overs after being bowled out.

Top bowlers for Estcourt were Lloyd – 5/37, Amith – 2/36 and Suvedh – 2/27.

Estcourt won the game convincingly through a great bowling and fielding performance, this win now moves Estcourt to the top on the KZN Inland promotion league table with two games remaining in the season. Estcourt’s next game is against Dundee in Dundee on March 4.
