ANGLING: Riverside AC ready to cast off

This competition also includes a skins format event.

Riverside Angling Club is hosting a Grand Open Bank Angling Competition this weekend.

The action at Chelmsford/Ntshingwayo Dam gets underway from 8am on March 3 and 10am on March 4.

Anglers pay an entry fee of R200 excluding gate fees.

The angler who reels in the heaviest carp over the two-day competition bags a neat R25 000, while the heaviest barbel is worth R10 000.

This competition also includes a skins format event.

Cash prizes of R1 000 will be up for grabs at two-hour intervals, in addition to numerous other spot prizes and lucky draws.

No spectators are allowed.
