Bongani shines for BBAC in Newcastle
A big field tested themselves during the last Time Trials.
Time Trials continues to be a stepping stone to greater things for the Biggarsberg Athletes.
On Saturday, March 3, Biggarsberg Athletics Club participated in Newcastle and ironman, Bongani Sabelo, came second in the 42km.
The club is extremely proud of him.
A big field also tested themselves during the last Time Trials and finished as follows:
Ladies 3km Walk: Dorea Coetzee – 29m35s.
Ladies 4km Run: Thabisile Phungula – 22m05s; Jeanri Boshoff – 26m45s; Ntombi Sithole – 27m49s; Kholiwe Buthelezi – 27m49s; Jeanette Boshoff – 30m25s and Makhosi Qwabe – 30m37s.
Ladies 8km Run: Thobeka Mbatha – 51m26s.
Mens 4km Run: Ayanda Buthelezi – 14m08s; Petros Mavuso – 17m12s; Thokozane Khanyile – 20m13s; Pat Sibisi – 21m08s; Nathi Mkhonza – 21m32s; Sakhile Masondo – 21m57s; Lindani Vilakazi – 22m09s; Nkululeko Dlala – 22m55s and Siphamandla Nkosi – 27m04s.
