The annual KwaZulu-Natal Country Bowls (KZNCB) Inter Zone competition took place this weekend at Newcastle Bowling Club.
The three zones in the district, namely Midlands, Northerns and Zululand, were represented by four men’s and four women’s teams. Each team played two games against the other two zones, with the overall scores accumulated to determine the zone winners.
The Northern zone is hoped to use the home advantage to annex the trophy after a few lean years.
