Rajen Goodoon wins yet another monthly mug
Today there is a Better-Ball Stableford sponsored by Rite Watch Security
Saturday’s monthly mug was won by Rajen Goodoon on nett 38 and 40 Stableford points.

The club has lost count of the monthly mugs Rajen has won. He is one of the steadiest golfers at the club and also a match-play player of note.
Rajen also represents KwaZulu-Natal in darts. Second on 70 nett was Deejay Ramdhav, who also walked away with the six-hole chicken competition sponsored by Pick ‘n Pay on Friday.
Third on nett 70 was Ledlie Hume. Third on Stableford points was Dr Gordon Chotu with 36 points. The jackpot was won by Ledlie Hume on 11 points.
Closest to the pin on number two (for two) was Fred Vickers. Two-clubs were scored by Doc Khuzwayo, Rajen Goodoon, Gordon Smith and Warren Smith, who kindly donated their prize to the club.
The Wednesday competition, sponsored by Simon Harper from Midway, attracted a nice field and was won by Gordon Smith and Lional Laatz.
Second were Paul Wagenaar and George van Niekerk, and third place went to Deejay Ramdhav and Viren Omardath.
This Friday a game is sponsored by Pick ‘n Pay; and Saturday is the Sanlam Cansa Golf Challenge Day in aid of funds for cancer research. There will be A, B and C divisions, with an Individual Stableford competition to count.
There are three prizes in each division, with a goodie bag to start off. Players are encouraged to enter their names as soon as possible, as a full field is expected.
